Konstantina Kyriakopoulou

Dr. Konstantina Kyriakopoulou is a postdoctoral researcher in Martin Götte's lab in Münster University Hospital. She is specializing in extracellular matrix biology with hands-on expertise ranging from 3D organoid models to confocal microscopy and functional cell assays. She has trained across Greece, Germany, France, South Korea, and the UK, collecting not only technical skills but also an impressive number of airport coffees. Her research focuses on how cells communicate with and reshape their microenvironment, with recent work focusing on endometrial receptivity and breast cancer. Beyond the bench, she is an active science communicator, leadership team member of The Meshwork, Equal Opportunities representative of Reproduction.MS, and a committed mentor to young scientists. Passionate about inclusive, collaborative science, she brings curiosity, sharp scientific insight and a spark of personality to every project.
