Originally from Slovakia, I completed my Ph.D. in the Laboratory of Cancer Cell Invasion at Charles University in Prague, Czechia, under the supervision of Prof. Brábek and A/Prof. Rösel, where I studied the role of kinase signalling in regulation of small Rho GTPases and cancer progression. Currently, I am a senior postdoctoral researcher in the Cell Adhesion and Cancer lab led by Prof. Ivaska at the Turku Bioscience Centre, Finland, and I am interested in the mechanistic and functional aspects of protein condensation in regulating cell adhesion, migration, and invasion in response to changes in cell-ECM adhesion.
